OWN LABEL

OWN LABEL is about high quality design without paying high prices for established brand names.

OWN LABEL was set up following a collaboration between students from the University of the Arts and London Business School. There are four original founders of the company, all of us share the same belief, that the consumers should determine what looks stylish and that the internet provides the ideal platform to showcase the talents of rising designers.

Farmer's Party

Kyung-Buk Bong-Hwa Farm, using organic agricultural techniques, met designer Jang-Sub Lee and created "Farmer's Party". It is a new network system which brings farmers and design together and connects to consumers with heathy products.

Senior Design Factory

Senior Design Factory brings old and young people together as partners and work together on creative projects by exchanging and sharing ideas under different generations.

Smart Supermarket

Smart supermarket offers recipes.

In Brazil, Hellmann’s prints customized recipes on grocery shoppers’ receipts

As part of a recent ad campaign for Hellmann’s mayonnaise in Brazil, recipes tailored to the ingredients the shopper had just purchased were printed out on the store receipt.

Last year we wrote about Spanish food brand Gallina Blanca and its initiative to send consumers personalized recipes via Twitter, but recently we came across a like-minded effort that takes the concept even further. Specifically, through a recent ad campaign for Hellmann’s mayonnaise in Brazil, recipes tailored to the ingredients the shopper had just purchased were printed out on the store receipt.

SMALL DEMONS

"Did you understand the book 100 percent completely?"
If you did not, search more about the book on SMALL DEMONS.

It all begins here. Suppose someone took every meaningful detail from all the books you love. Every song mentioned, every person, every food or place or movie title. And what if they did that for all the books everyone else loves, too. The ones you’ve never heard of. Suddenly you’ve got a whole world of seemingly random people, places and things, all gathered in one place.

Together they create something vast, wonderful and entirely new. A Storyverse. A place where details touch, overlap and lead you further. To new music to listen to. New movies to watch. Places to visit. People to know. And of course, new books to read. Getting started is simple. Just choose a book. See where it takes you.

Author: Alexander Osterwalder, Yves Pigneur

Q: Are you an entrepreneurial spirit?

Q: Are you constantly thinking about how to create value and build new businesses, or how to improve or transform your organization?

Q: Are you trying to find innovative ways of doing business to replace old, outdated ones?

Are you "Yes" or "No"?
This book starts with the questions above.

Table of Contents
The book is divided into five sections:
1. The Business Model Canvas, a tool for describing, analyzing, and designing business models,
2. Business Model Patterns, based n concepts from leading business thinkers,
3. Techniques to help you design business models,
4. Re-interpreting strategy through the business model lends, and
5. A generic process to help you design innovative business models, trying together all the concepts, techniques, and tools in Business Model Generation.
The last section offers an outlook on five business model topics for future exploration.
Finally, the afterword provides a peek into "the making of" Business Model Generation.

I answered "Yes", so I am going to continue reading this book.
Exciting!
